Hey Reader,Remember me? It's been a while since I've written. Six weeks ago, I left you with a question: What inspires you? I loved the responses! Everyone mentioned joy, family, friends, passion, and a hoard of other great answers. It was a pleasure to read through, so thank you for that. I've been trying to determine what inspires me. That's a question that I've struggled with for years, but it's been on the forefront of my mind recently. The work that I've done for the past year has had many cool and exciting moments, but it hasn't left me feeling inspired to do more. So I did what anyone in my situation would do, accepted a contract labor job and spent two weeks working in the mud and the rain. What inspires me? Sometimes it's easier to identify the things you don't like than it is to identify the things you do. Sometimes you get lucky and experiencing something you like opens your eyes to the things you dislike. That's what happened to me on my 4th consecutive 12hr shift, ankle deep in mud, carrying packs of steel pipe. I was face-to-face with hard work and it occurred to me that I needed it. I need something that pushes me physically and mentally, that has clearly defined goals and common understanding across team members, that doesn't ask me to defend every suggestion I make. Unfortunately, that's not freelance marketing. There are a lot of things that I've loved about my journey with Bahnfyre PR. There are also plenty of things that I haven't loved. It doesn't seem necessary to air all of my grievances here, but I have found the end of my rope with the way things are going. That doesn't mean a permanent end to Bahnfyre, but it does mean a shift in priority. For now, I'll be hitting pause on this newsletter. You may hear from me in the future, but I need to go out and find more things to write about. I need to find more inspiration. I cannot even begin to tell you how grateful I am for the support that you've given this newsletter, this business, and me. I don't think I have enough words to tell you how I'm feeling, so I'll leave you with just one. Thanks. -MCp.s.
--- Let's celebrate your wins next. Ask me how!

Fyreside Newsletter - 8/31/26 Hey Reader, I'm feeling uninspired. It's probably the state of the world, the food recalls, the deaths of Tim Curry and Dolly Parton, and the amount of time I've spent staring at my résumé this week, but I may just need to exercise more. This week, instead of wringing a newsletter out of my very tired and dry brain, I'm coming to you in search of inspiration. Friend, I have a question for you. What inspires you? Reply and let me know. Not only am I genuinely in...
Fyreside Newsletter - 8/24/26 Hey Reader, Last October, I published a blog about "views." It's really good, you should read it if you haven't already. It's called "How Many Views Does It Take To Go Viral." In case you don't want to take a tangent to blogtown, please allow me to quote the important part of the article below. After 20+ years of practical experience and technological advancement, YouTube has tightened their definition of a “view.” The general understanding is that a video must...
Fyreside Newsletter - 8/17/26 Hey Reader, I'm back from vacation! Am I caught up from vacation? Absolutely not. But I'm back! Thank you for your patience over the last couple of weeks. I know this newsletter is likely the highlight of your Monday and I sincerely apologize for depriving you of its splendor. Today I'm brining you a story of small business success on the internet. In 2026, that kind of feels like saying, "Today I'm going to tell you about the sasquatch that I saw!" But it's...
