New Radicals Honesty - Fyreside Newsletter - 12/9/24

Fyreside Newsletter - 12/9/24

Hey Reader,

Ready for some radical honesty?

Last week's newsletter included the following quote:

Also, the eBook version of the aforementioned screen time blog series will hit bahnfyrepr.com/freestuff by week's end!

Well, I lied. I'd apologize, but I'm not all that sorry. See a crucial part of growing a business organically is living within the constant ebb and flow of productivity. Organic growth is a long game, no bones about it. I spend a great deal of time reassuring clients that, just because they've missed a checkpoint or a goal, their progress is not wholly lost. I'm reminding myself (and, by extension, you) of the same.

In case you haven't checked it out yet, the screen time blog series is available on Blogfyre, even if it's not an eBook yet. The conclusion of our screen time series came out swinging with niche references to one-hit-wonders of the 90s. If you want to know why I think New Radicals hit the nail on the head when it comes to social strategy, click here.

We did crack a milestone on TikTok this week! One of the three videos we posted last week broke 1k views! A friendly reminder that I am currently sprinting to 1k followers on the clock app, so if you haven't yet, follow @bahnfyrePR please and thank you.

Coming this week...

eBook.

Last but not least...a final warning!

I've mentioned in the last few newsletters that I am raising prices at the turn of the New Year. Starting next week, This Friday I'll be pulling my current offerings off the website. SO THIS IS THE LAST CALL! The best marketing consultation deals you'll ever see in your life are about to go away. If you or someone you know could really benefit from a one-hour, no holds barred, consultation, please reach out or click here.

Finally, if money is tight this holiday season, I want to reiterate, I get it. If you want to support Bahnfyre without spending a dime, consider forwarding this newsletter to someone who might like it! Or don't, I'm not your dad.

Around the Bahnfyre

The reality of a TikTok Ban

A word to small creators and TikTok enthusiasts.

Screen Time: You Get What You Give

The amount of screen time you dedicate to an app or site is how that app or site quantifies and understands you as a user. Beyond in-app behavior, it is your time that social sites and apps value the most. That’s all well and good, but how does it pertain to the New Radicals? Good question.

This Is Nothing #2

Please stop spamming my inboxes. It will never, ever work. It will, however, continue to give me a reason to write this blog series.

I'm deleting this on Friday. I'm serious.

You've been warned.

Per the recommendation of a number of friends and mentors,
I'm going to be raising my prices in 2025. If you want to be among the last
to get in at a MUCH CHEAPER RATE, click below!

Fyreside Newsletter - 6/30/25 Hey Reader, No, I'm not talking about phishing, the steal-your-data kind or the tie-dyed-weed-smoke kind. This is an email about fishing. Baiting a hook, tossing a line, hauling a catch, gutting and cleaning, just good ol' fashion fishing! (Yeah of course it's a metaphor for marketing. Have you read this newsletter before?) Marketing is a lot like Fishing If you respond to this and say that "because you used 'like' it's actually a simile," I will unsubscribe you...

Fyreside Newsletter - 6/23/25 Hey Reader, I'm not going to lie to you, I flew home on a red-eye last night and went to bed just after 4am. Thus, a shorter newsletter. Sorry, not sorry, I saved $150 flying late. ANYWAY, let me tell you about this driver. I typically only do ride shares when I'm traveling, and even then, not that often. I've been in my fair shares of Lyfts and Ubers, but nearly as many Lyfts and Ubers as some. So, take my story with a grain of salt. You may have a worse ride...

Fyreside Newsletter - 6/16/25 Hey Reader, Hot take: 2FA is a good thing. It's my absolute least favorite good thing, but it's a good thing. I'll be honest, I don't know how hot that take actually is. Maybe everyone is good with 2FA these days, but my recent stint working in higher education tells me otherwise. Either way, two-factor authentication is a phenomenal security concept that has added a much-needed layer of protection in the digital age. The magic behind 2FA are the things it...
