New Radicals Honesty - Fyreside Newsletter - 12/9/24

Fyreside Newsletter - 12/9/24

Hey Reader,

Ready for some radical honesty?

Last week's newsletter included the following quote:

Also, the eBook version of the aforementioned screen time blog series will hit bahnfyrepr.com/freestuff by week's end!

Well, I lied. I'd apologize, but I'm not all that sorry. See a crucial part of growing a business organically is living within the constant ebb and flow of productivity. Organic growth is a long game, no bones about it. I spend a great deal of time reassuring clients that, just because they've missed a checkpoint or a goal, their progress is not wholly lost. I'm reminding myself (and, by extension, you) of the same.

In case you haven't checked it out yet, the screen time blog series is available on Blogfyre, even if it's not an eBook yet. The conclusion of our screen time series came out swinging with niche references to one-hit-wonders of the 90s. If you want to know why I think New Radicals hit the nail on the head when it comes to social strategy, click here.

We did crack a milestone on TikTok this week! One of the three videos we posted last week broke 1k views! A friendly reminder that I am currently sprinting to 1k followers on the clock app, so if you haven't yet, follow @bahnfyrePR please and thank you.

Coming this week...

eBook.

Last but not least...a final warning!

I've mentioned in the last few newsletters that I am raising prices at the turn of the New Year. Starting next week, This Friday I'll be pulling my current offerings off the website. SO THIS IS THE LAST CALL! The best marketing consultation deals you'll ever see in your life are about to go away. If you or someone you know could really benefit from a one-hour, no holds barred, consultation, please reach out or click here.

Finally, if money is tight this holiday season, I want to reiterate, I get it. If you want to support Bahnfyre without spending a dime, consider forwarding this newsletter to someone who might like it! Or don't, I'm not your dad.

Around the Bahnfyre

The reality of a TikTok Ban

A word to small creators and TikTok enthusiasts.

Screen Time: You Get What You Give

The amount of screen time you dedicate to an app or site is how that app or site quantifies and understands you as a user. Beyond in-app behavior, it is your time that social sites and apps value the most. That’s all well and good, but how does it pertain to the New Radicals? Good question.

This Is Nothing #2

Please stop spamming my inboxes. It will never, ever work. It will, however, continue to give me a reason to write this blog series.

I'm deleting this on Friday. I'm serious.

You've been warned.

Per the recommendation of a number of friends and mentors,
I'm going to be raising my prices in 2025. If you want to be among the last
to get in at a MUCH CHEAPER RATE, click below!

Fyreside Newsletter - 12/15/25 Hey Reader, Well, we made it. We've reached the end of another global rotation and, with that, the last Fyreside Newsletter of the year. Just a friendly reminder that you can catch up on old issues of Fyreside here if you're itching for the marketing advice of yore. After taking a much needed week off, I was grappling what to write about today. Plan A was a diatribe about propaganda and its devastating effect on those who, due to age, health and/or environment,...

Fyreside Newsletter - 12/15/25 Hey Reader, First, a brief programming note: I'm taking next week off! Between travel and holiday prep, I don't plan on spending much time at my desk next week. You'll get one more newsletter from me this year on the 29th. Sorry if that ruins your holidays. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Please don't make me hurt your feelings. I don't like to be mean to people. I learned at a young age that the way I perceive social situations makes it easy for me to be mean accidentally. I also...

Fyreside Newsletter - 12/8/25 Hey Reader, Today I want to share an example with you. In the second week of the last month of the year, I don't think there's much worth to advertising advice. Why? Because there is no single period of time more ridden with consumerism and advertisement than this. Don't add your slop to the pile, no one will care. Instead, let's all take a minute to look at something good. Best Subs in America I grew up in Western Pennsylvania. In a small town adjacent to mine...
